California's situation changed significantly: the state Department of Public Health has deemed kratom and 7-hydroxymitragynine adulterated products under the Sherman Food, Drug & Cosmetic Law, making them unlawful to sell or manufacture statewide — a food-safety prohibition rather than a drug-scheduling one. On top of that, San Diego, Oceanside, and Newport Beach have their own local bans.
Given the statewide prohibition, Premium Kratom Co does not ship kratom or 7-OH to California addresses.
